Continuing the 95th Anniversary Celebration of the Deutsches Haus, Mrs. Brigitta Malm discuss the Turners (gymnasts) of New Orleans on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.
. The Turnverein (gymnastic club) was one of the founding organizations of the Deutsches Haus in 1928. One of their buildings still stands at 938 Lafayette Street, The talk will start at 7:00 pm but the Haus opens at 4:00 pm. Food and drink service is available.
The Deutsches Haus is located at 1700 Moss St, New Orleans, LA 70119 with ample parking on the grounds.
