Happy Festival Season!

We kicked off festival season in fine fashion here in New Orleans this past weekend with the Danny Barker Banjo and Guitar Festival an incredible celebration of the life and music of Danny Barker. Now as the spring festivals commence it’s just in time for The Spirit of Suwannee Spring Reunion. The festival takes place in the serene setting of the Spirit of Suwannee Music Park nestled on the Suwannee River in Live Oak Florida. I’ll be celebrating the music of the festival on this weeks Homespun Americana Music show at 2pm Sunday with tracks from artist who will be appearing as well as live interviews . Some of the headliners this year include Sam Bush, Infamous Stringdusters and Molly Tuttle, Peter Rowan, Leftover Salmon, Sierra Hull and many more. Ol Man River will be attending the festival and if everything works out will report back right here daily from the festival grounds with photos and more.
