"Free Your Mind" is George Clinton's first ever solo gallery presentation of paintings. The show is at the Spillman Blackwell Gallery (866 Camp St.) through October 30. At the opening night on October 2, he was asked about fellow funk pioneers The Meters, and this is what he had to say:
