Tiago Guy

Tiago Guy is a Brazilian-born singer-songwriter who, in the spring of 2021, made the big move to New Orleans to pursue his passion for American roots music. Since then, he has carved his way into the local music scene, appearing on many of the city’s well-known stages including Tipitina’s, the Maple Leaf Bar, and the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. His Americana-inflected tunes – along with solid talent – are showcased on albums like the recent Paper Thin, which features  veterans like John Cleary, Nigel Hall, the Zion Harmonizers, and John Fohl, and includes catchy songs like “Westbank Girl” that capture the charm – and quirks- of his adopted city.
