J & The Causeways bring funky soul and R&B to every stage they grace, fronted by the leadership and vocal stylings of keyboardist Jordan Anderson. Anderson was influenced by his piano teacher grandmother’s music collection –classic Al Green, Otis Redding, Queen, and Aretha Franklin inspired the young Anderson to find the power and emotion behind his talented voice. As an adult, Anderson brings that background and his powerful vocal stylings to lead the six-piece band, including a kick-ass horn section, in rocking soul tunes like “Half a Man” from their Jam in the Van EP release and their 2024 single “Lately.”
