Lafayette Square (OUTDOORS)
Lafayette Square, the second oldest park in the City, was founded in 1788 and was originally called “place publique.” Located in the heart of downtown New Orleans, the park is a welcoming green space for workers, residents and visitors to the City.
The Square is named after the American Revolutionary War Hero, Marie Joseph Paul Yves Roch Gilbert Du Motier, Marquis de Lafayette.

11am-7pm | Rock & Rouge Women’s music festival is a two day festival celebrating the empowerment of women and girls. There will be music, food, organizations and a young girl’s STEAM tent with activities in science, technology engineering arts in mathematics for ages 8 through 12. Featuring new this year will be women’s art market in beauty, soaps and jewelry clothes.
