A free celebration will be held outside Casa Borrega on Saturday, August 29 from 3-11p to thank the many Hispanic immigrants who helped rebuild New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. The day will be filled with music, food, drinks, and dancing to honor the workers who cleaned our city and rebuilt our streets, homes and businesses.
The Alexis "Papo" Guevara Afro Cuban Trio will perform from 3-7p and Javier Gutierrez & VIVAZ! will perform from 7:30-11p. Food will be provided by Casa Borrega, along with Mexican cocktails, beer, and a Donald Trump piñata.
