Goodbye Never Records. We will miss you Ted!
Air time:

Join us Wednesday night November 7th from 10:00 p.m. till midnightish as we have special guest Ted Riederara of Never Records joining us for a very special show. Ted will be spinning vinyl records manufactured during the past month he has spent in New Orleans. Ryan Scully will also be joining us performing live for us as Ted's final recording on his project.

If you are not aware Ted has been in New Orleans over a month at the record store located at 841 Carondolet Street. Never Records is a record store unlike any we’ve ever known and is actually a very elaborate multi-media, multi-artis performance art project. You have till November 4th to stop in and check it out. Check out the live stream at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/never-records---new-orleans if you are unable to stop in.

Ted doesn’t sell old-style records. He makes them. Over the past month he issued a call to New Orleans musicians, poets, story tellers, skateboarders and anyone else who wants to come down and cut an old-fashioned vinyl record.  He accepted participants on a more-or-less first come first served basis, in hopes of creating a random bug-in-amber document of current Crescent City sonic creativity. Ted has been digitally recording short performances on the small Never Records stage. He then transforms those recordings into vinyl records on a German-made record lathe that looks like an especially complicated phonograph.

We are excited Ted will be in the studio with us spinning these records he made in New Orleans and even more excited having him record his last performer Ryan Scully f0r the end of this mind blowing project.

Hope you tune in!
