The annual Independence Day celebration culminates with fireworks over the Mississippi River between the French Quarter and Algiers Point at 9 p.m. Thursday, July 4.

There will be live music and festivities at Spanish Plaza from 2-9 p.m., as well as entertainment at the Moonwalk from 5:30-9 p.m. Performers include James Andrews and the Victory Belles.
