WWOZ Piano Night is WWOZ 90.7 FM’s flagship fundraiser and a festival tradition amongst New Orleans music lovers! This year, 28 piano players will perform at the House of Blues on Monday, April 29, 2024 in support of carrying the flame of the New Orleans piano tradition and WWOZ. Doors open at 5pm.

Performers include Bill Payne of Little Feat, Marcia Ball, Jon Cleary, Terrance Simien with Danny Williams, Joe Krown, Lilli Lewis, Courtney Bryan, Kyle Roussel, Keiko Komaki, Oscar Rossignoli, Tom McDermott, David Boeddinghaus, Rickie Monie, Larry Sieberth, John "Papa" Gros, Josh Paxton, Tom Worrell, Jesse McBride, Al "Lil Fats" Jackson, Victor Campbell, Shea Pierre, Mari Watanabe, CR Gruver, Yoshitaka Tsuji (Z2), Joe Ashlar, BC Coogan, Steve DeTroy, and River Eckert.

WWOZ Piano Night has two simple goals: (1) honor and celebrate New Orleans piano traditions and (2) raise funds to benefit WWOZ. Patrons are invited to join us for more than five hours of piano from more than two dozen pianists, playing in a range of styles from boogie-woogie to trad jazz, modern jazz to R&B, stride to gospel, and much more.
