WWOZ was recognized with a Prestige Award by the Louisiana Association of Broadcasters this afternoon for Best Live On-Site Remote Broadcast for our live broadcast from Jazz Fest 2023! This award recognizes the state's best single or series of announcements made directly from a live, on-site broadcast. Criteria include information value, entertainment value and production.
