Right around the corner from the summer heat is a fall full of festivals and other happenings.  On today’s program, we’ll preview some of the things you can do as the weather cools in the Crescent City, including Jazz in the Park, which is returning for its 4th time to Armstrong Park on September 5th. 

 

In addition to music by Alex McMurray, Los Po-Boy-Citos, Sasha Masakowski with Marco Benevento, and Dr. Lonnie Smith (among others), we’ll tour the newly reopened Civic, New Orleans oldest historic theatre with local filmmaker and producer, Bryan Bailey, who’s also one of the three partners involved in the reopening of this historic gem.
