Historic New Orleans Collection
Upcoming Shows
On February 23 and 24 and March 1, The Historic New Orleans Collection will toast and roast in alternating fashion the wildly inappropriate (by today’s standards) 1923 silent film classic The Hunchback of Notre Dame. A merry band of jesters, led by New Orleans’s own Brian Lilly, will provide running commentary on the landmark film’s highlights and lowlights! A new original score by French multi-instrumentalist Romain Beauxis will be performed live! Drink shall flow and alliterative puns shall spill!
The pagan pageantry will be preceded by a mood-setting viewing of the hit traveling exhibition Notre-Dame de Paris: The Augmented Exhibition — and no doubt much selfie-making with the exhibition’s HistoPad portable portal into history.
This is a ticketed event and will sell for $15 per person.
Showtime for The Hunchback of Notre Dame will take place at 7:00 p.m.
