4:30-10:30pm | The Neighborhood Story Project, Alune Wade's SUNU Crescendo Production, and Alliance Française present a day and night of music, fashion, food, and (of course) books celebrating the connections between West Africa and New Orleans. 

Hosted by MC Sunni Patterson, featuring Culu Traditional African Dance Company, Afrissippi, Leyla McCalla, Rama Diaw Fashion from Saint-Louis, Senegal, The Spirit of Fi Yi Yi, DJ Jubilee with Big Nine, Footwerk Family, Money Wasters, Nine Times, Prince of Wales, The Revolution, Undefeated Divas and Gents, Versatile Ladies of Style, and the Young Men Olympia, Jr., Corey Henry and the Treme Funket, plus Alune Wade & Friends: Weedie Braimah (djembe), Babacar “Moha” Seck (sabar), Aly Guissé (sabar and tama), Raja Kassis (guitar) Kirk Joseph (sousaphone), and Alfred Jordan (drums).
