The Fred Hampton Free Store, a “free store” in the Lower 9th Ward, stocks shelves of food, clothing, toiletries, books and menstrual products — all available for visitors to take at no charge, operated by the nonprofit GNO Caring Collective. The Store also serves as an event space for community organizers, performers & artists.
Open every Monday from 5 to 7 p.m
