6-10pm | Multicultural Sounds of Louisiana: Exploring Afro-Latin American, Spanish and Creole Influences of Our Region

An evening of Latin American music collaboratively envisioned, commissioned and presented by Lyrica Baroque and Palacios House of Arts. The evening will feature Latin American artists and composers performing newly commissioned works, student compositions and side-by-side performing of students and professional musicians. 

Multicultural Sounds promotes the cultural values and traditional sound of the region while facilitating the creation of new music, embodying the true essence of collaborative arts presenting and education, showcasing our passionate teachers, dedicated families and students, and the power of authentic partnership and collaboration to inspire more creativity, inclusivity, and broader reach.
