Breaux Bridges will be filling for Al Colon on today's Jazz from the French Market show from 4-7pm.  He'll be doing a tribute to Randy Weston, who passed recently and played a crucial role in Breaux Bridges’ love of contemporary jazz.

Mr. Weston recognized the African roots of popular American music, incorporating those rhythms and melodies into his many compositions. He died on Saturday, September 1, 2018, leaving us with a huge catalog of music and, for those who were fortunate enough to see him perform live, memories of wonderful concerts.
