These are unofficial events organized by loving fans and open to all who wish to celebrate Mr. Toussaint.

Saturday, November 28 in New York City:
A traditional jazz funeral honoring Allen Toussaint at Washington Square Park

"We are hosting a traditional New Orleans Jazz Funeral for Allen Toussaint. Musicians should show up at 12:00 noon for setup and rehearsal.This is to celebrate the life and music of Allen Toussaint. The event is weather permitting. The rain date is the following Saturday. Please come honor Allen Toussaint with us."
