You might know that Mr. Tim Green, New Orleans' own reed man, passed away last week.   He spent a lot of years playing and also recording with a wide variety of bands.   You might have heard a tribute to him on 'OZ, and you might have thought that was all there was to know about him, might have thought that all the stories had been told, all the tunes played, all the significant and soulful solos aired.  Not so.  During the Friday Morning Set and on The Soul Ride,  Mark McGrain, trombonist, composer, and founder of the trio group Plunge and James Singleton, composer, bandleader, as well as the premier bassist in town and maybe in the world, will be my special live guests and they will bring their own experiences to tell and I will be playing interesting and exciting music which you may have never heard.  Join us roughly between 7 and 9 a.m., 90.7 FM and wwoz.org for this special show!
