Dr. John is 77 on November 21 and, this year, the New Orleans City Council declared his birthday Dr. John Day in New Orleans! Best wishes to Mac on his 77th.
Earlier this month, he told nola.com, "76 was great and 77 is going to be greater."
He'll be playing two concerts at Tipitina's to close out the year on December 27 and 28.
