Trout did a fine job with "Crossroad" this week, I had a chance to listen while in Cherokee to do a little gem mining. Libby and I are at our "summer / retirement" home in North Carolina for the week. As I said we went to Cherokee and found a lovely garnet (2 caret) that Libby had cut into a heart for her necklace. Also, a couple of nice rubies, several sapphires and some topaz stones as well. Got some new moccasins too. Last night we drove over to Brevard to see Grayson Capps at "Duckpond @ dusk". Moonshine Babies open up for him. Before the show we had a wonderful dinner at Hobnob in downtown. We gave Grayson and Trina a surprise when we were waiting to cross the street as they pulled up to the stop sign. Duckpond Pottery is a wonderful shop full of artistic pottery and art. His collection of "jazz musicians" is wonderful. Libby got me "Big D" tiki torch from Nick last year, it is on our back porch in M'ville. if you find yourself in Brevard NC be sure and stop by.
