Sweet Crude offers up joyful, sparkly original rock and indie pop, sung both in English and in the dialectical Louisiana French to “keep the language relevant through art” and “because it’s part of what makes our home unique and special to us.” The exuberant sextet, formed in 2013 in New Orleans, released their debut album, Creatures, in 2017, and in 2020 put out their stellar Officiel/Artificiel on the major Verve Forecast label.
