Kat is and artist and singer living in New Orleans.  Kat became very inspired when she got to see the late Ella Fitzgerald & Bobby McFerrin live at the Seattle Folk Life Festival years ago. Kat fronted a performance art rock bank called Kat & The Rhythm Rats in Los Angeles, CA (venues include: opening for the late Chuck E. Weiss at the Central [now the Viper Room] on Sunset Blvd & Whiskey A Go Go). Kat fronted a blues band also in Los Angeles, CA (venues include: Mama Pajamas and Molly Malones).

In New Orleans, performance highlights include The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, The New Orleans Jazz National Historical Park, French Quarter Fest, Parkway, Temple Sinai, Tipitinas, and The Big Top. Current band: Amasa Miller-piano, Ricco-Bass, Frank Wagner-drums, Robert Rotherham-saxophone, Kat Walker-Vocals 

Kat Walker Jazz Band-Scat with Ms. Kat, is a facet of the band geared to Kids.  Kat has the kids come on stage and scat sing & dance with the band!
