Ever More Nest

Ever More Nest is the musical brainchild of Kelcy Wilburn (aka Kelcy Mae),  a singer songwriter from Shreveport who wound her way to New Orleans to forge a life as a creative artist. The folk/Americana-driven Ever More Nest (named from a poem by Mary Ann Samyn) touches on the gospel, country and blues of Wilburn’s north Louisiana home, and incorporates the emotionality and poetics of groups such as The Cranberries and Tori Amos. In addition to Wilburn’s vocals and guitar, the band includes Lucy Cordts on banjo and mandolin, Dave DeCotiis and Michael Lentz on guitars, Rebecca Crenshaw on violin, Chris Nicotera on bass, and Alec Barnes and Adam Everett on drums. Top cuts from their most recent album, Out Here Now include the title track and “Out Loud.”
