For the Love of Money - Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 12:30pm
During For the Love of Money the VIP Ladies and Kids in partnership with Silence Is Violence memoralized victim survivors of crime. There was a peace motorcade that included the Jeremy Galmon family, the Shavers family, and cultural icon bounce rapper Magnolia Shorty's family. The victim survivors honored their loved ones during the motorcade with photographs and signage.
There was also students from Cohen High School and Hope Academy walking for peace. A special tribute was done in honor of Magnolia Shorty, Miss VIP 2010, on Washington Ave. and LaSalle St.
