The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation presents the 2024 Jazz & Heritage Concert Series celebrating contemporary jazz at the George and Joyce Wein Jazz & Heritage Center! The series continues on Saturday, January 13 at 8pm CT with a performance from Christien Bold.

Christien Bold, a rising young vocalist and New Orleans native, aims to share with his audience, young and old, the rich musical tradition of New Orleans that he has been so fortunate to be a part of in recent years. A tradition that fused with his own inner groove. 

Christien has performed with the Ellis Marsalis Trio, the Wess "Warmdaddy" Anderson Quintet, and Jesse McBride & Next Generation. Under the tutelage of these great mentors, he has grown to understand the power of music as a tool for open and honest expression. Today, as he branches out on his own, presenting some of his new music, he sends messages of personal change, peace, self-love, and the importance of mental health in modern day America.
