On this week’s program, we preview the upcoming Treme Culture Fest, a three-day event that celebrates one of New Orleans’ most beloved neighborhoods and talk brass bands with one of its natives, Kermit Ruffins. 

During the hour, we also visit Cowbell, a restaurant in the River Bend section of New Orleans to talk with Brack May about everything from growing up eating Hawaiian food to the local food scene over some grass fed beef. Their menu also features a veggie burger that appeals to both vegetarians and natural food lovers.
