The 2010 New Orleans Po-Boy Preservation Festival descended upon Oak Street in the Uptown section of the Crescent City on Sunday, November 14! The fest annually celebrates one of the city's most famous culinary traditions, which dates back to the 1920s, with an outdoor festival featuring live music, art, and some of the tastiest po-boys in New Orleans from dozens of local eateries.

WWOZ broadcast Los Po-Boy-Citos, Honey Island Swamp Band and Papa Grows Funk from the Streetcar Stage at S. Carrollton Ave. and Oak St.

The WWOZ Outreach Krewe was on hand signing up new/renewing members, selling fantastic 'OZ gear and raffling off prizes. We even sold 2011 WWOZ Brass Passes—just in time for the holidays!
