Tonight we celebrate!
Tonight we ride (in true radio style!)
Tonight at 10 PM we celebrate the 19th anniversary of maybe the most daring yet maybe the most idiotic thing WWOZ has ever done: Letting the Jazz Lunatique get in front of the microphone and play what he calls music for all the crazies who come out at night.
So tonight we'll play some old favorites, some new favorites, and rant and rave and not cuss in the style to which my listener has become accustomed.
We will be throwing down. It's a party on plastic, honey! Some other attendees to this party might have names such as Shepp, Ayler, Blount, McDermott, Williams, Summer, King, Booker, K-Doe, Pop, Hendrix, Diddely, Harvey, X, Waller, Shorter, Sharrock, Hooker, and Wilkins. I know you want to party with these folks, so come on and get your drink/medicine/psyilocibin/ayuhuasca on!
