WWOZ is pleased to welcome students from the Marion Abramson High School Brass Band for our next episode of Cuttin' Class on Wednesday, November 16! Band director Johnnie Van Buren came to Abramson from Menard Nelson where his middle school students won the 2016 'Class Got Brass' competition hosted by the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation. Several of those students followed Van Buren to Abramson.
