Dear Listener,
The more experienced among us advise the novices to begin serious training in February or mid-March at the latest. Each week you should shorten your sleep schedule by one hour, so that by the time you hit Jazz Fest, all-nighters will come naturally. We've got a jam-packed lineup for our Jazz Fest broadcasts. Read on for all the details.
Let's not forget WWOZ's own Piano Night at the House of Blues on Monday, April 28th, 8 p.m.-`til. Piano Night has two stages, one featuring acoustic pianists and the other with some of New Orleans' most famous back-up musicians playing alongside a never-ending parade of the city's finest pianists paying tribute to New Orleans' great piano tradition.
All during this festival time, you should stay tuned to WWOZ's 90.7 as the fanatico-aficionado show hosts bring their best game right through the festival season climax. Like I say: sleep is not an option.
Yours In A Festival Spirit,
David Freedman
General Manager

WWOZ WILL CALL will be open on the days of the Festival from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Please bring your picture I.D.
