Auction: Allen Toussaint Custom-Made Performance SuitOwn a unique piece of New Orleans musical history when you bid high on this one of a kind, performance suit, custom-made for New Orleans Music Legend Allen Toussaint. This hand-painted suit was a favorite of Allen's and he wore it for performances worldwide! Though custom-made, the suit jacket is approximately 46 Regular with pants measuring 38 inch waist and 32 inch inseam. Special thanks to the Toussaint family for this incredibly generous donation to benefit WWOZ! The auction starts January 14 and runs through NOON January 20. Pre-register at the link below. |

Jazz & Heritage Concert Series, January 16-17This weekend, the Jazz & Heritage Concert Series--produced by the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation and presented by Goldfarb Financial--presents two shows. New Orleans-born jazz vocalist Ingrid Lucia and the Good Trouble Makers play on Friday, January 16; Saturday, January 17 features a fusion of Afro-Cuban funk with pianist Lawrence Sieberth's Estrella Banda with special guests Thommy Lowry and Bart Platteau.
