Upcoming Shows

By popular demand, Jazz Festing In Place returns to WWOZ this fall for two four-day weekends -- October 7-10 and October 14-17, 2021! Tune in as we partner with the Archive of the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation to share rare and historic sets from Jazz Fest's past on what would have been the fall weekends of the festival. It's time to put on your festival gear, turn up WWOZ, and set up your October Jazz Festing in Place outpost in your backyard, or on your balcony, or in your living room.

In addition to the music, the 8-day broadcast will include interview segments highlighting the food, crafts, and heritage of New Orleans and Louisiana. We will also be sharing recipes for some of your favorite Jazz Fest cuisine and helping fans connect with favorite local festival food and craft vendors online.

Our members and listeners have kept us going the last two years -- and we're still here for you. Maybe we can't all be together at the fairgrounds, but we know how to still celebrate with the "Next Fest Thing!" We're proud to share some of the finest performances in the history of Jazz Fest, while we await the return of the festival itself. Listen worldwide, free, at wwoz.org, or locally at 90.7 FM.

And if you're interested in being a sponsor for Jazz Festing in Place on WWOZ, email us today at festinginplace@wwoz.org.
