The legendary tradition-bearing Preservation Hall Jazz Band is coming to WWOZ on Saturday, May 30, at 6 p.m. to chat and perform during Block Party with Brice Nice. They'll discuss their new album, New Orleans Preservation, Vol. 1, which was recorded in January 2009 at the hallowed Preservation Hall and features performances from Charlie Gabriel, Mark Braud, Walter Payton, and Clint Maedgen.
