12:45 - 1:30 | Tremé Brass Band |
1:30 - 3:00 | Don Vappie Quintet |
This festival is part of the New Orleans Vieux-To-Do, which combines three summer festivals into one. Based in the newly re-furbished French Market, the Tomato Festival features two music and food stages, one in the Farmer’s Market and a Latin stage at Dutch Alley. There will be 20 booths offering Creole favorites and local chefs putting on cooking demonstrations at both stages. WWOZ will be broadcasting from the Farmer’s Market Stage (located at Ursuline Street near the French Market).
