The Landry-Walker Chosen Ones, under the direction of Guardian of the Groove Wilbert Rawlins, will join us in the studio for the next episode of School Groove during the 2017 Don't Stop The Music Fall Pledge Drive.

This group won first place at the Jazz & Heritage Foundation's Class Got Brass competition last spring.

School Groove is a series of live in-studio performances by middle and high school students from the Greater New Orleans area.

Our show hosts sit down with the band leaders to talk about the band, what it's like to be young musician, and about the music education opportunities in New Orleans. We also make a $1000 donation to the schools that appear.
