Tekrema Center for Art and Culture presents a conference celebrating Louisiana's Black dance and music legacies - our shared and sacred spaces. This year, the confrerence will present works in progress that highlight the creativity and talents of our community through their choreographic, literary, and documentary work. These topics of creative development and research are under Tekrema's theme, Born in Blackness - Born in Love and importatnly, the development of art under principles of excellence, fact, and courage.
