StormPrep2025, presented by New Orleans Home & Garden Show, in partnership with Home Builders Association of Greater New Orleans (HBAGNO) and Jefferson Parish Bicentennial, offers a comprehensive event featuring expert speakers including government emergency response officials, interactive demonstrations, and essential resources to protect homes and families before and after the hurricane season.

Attendees will learn evacuation routes, emergency communication strategies, and how to create a disaster preparedness kit. Local contractors will demonstrate how to prepare a home prior to a storm, navigate the aftermath once it’s over and have a list of reliable local businesses to call. Attendees can also learn about Wind Mitigation insurance discounts and Louisiana tax deductions of up to $5,000.

Emergency response vehicles from surrounding parishes will be on display, as well as food & beverage trucks.
