Upcoming Shows

The 8th Annual New Orleans International Guitar Festival (NOIGF) will take place from March 29th – April 4th, 2025. This year’s theme is “Guitar Business” and will showcase the talents of 10 other guitarists from across the globe, including artists from Scotland/Spain, Cuba, Vietnam, Nicaragua, the USA, Bolivia, Colombia, and Puerto Rico.

The festival aims to highlight the guitar's role in a wide range of musical genres worldwide, from classical and flamenco to blues, jazz, metal, and rock. It will also include the Elias Barreiro Young Artists Competition which features a virtual preliminary round, with four semi finalists selected to compete in person during the semifinals and finals on April 3rd and 4th.

Cervantes Foundation has always taken great pride in maintaining a family-friendly atmosphere at this event, with a primary focus on offering an educational experience for the community. It provides an invaluable opportunity for attendees to witness musical masters showcase their playing techniques, reveal the secrets behind their craft, and share stories from their musical journeys. Above all, the foundation's goal is to mentor and inspire the next generation of musicians.
