11am-7pm | The Riverwalk Outlets 39^th Annual Lundi Gras Celebration at Spanish Plaza culminates the arrival of Mardi Gras organizations Rex, King of Carnival, and Zulu. The two organizations greet the public that have gathered and invite the Mayor of New Orleans to hand over keys to declare Fat Tuesday a day of fun and revelry for all! The ceremony is then followed by an extravagant fireworks display over the Mississippi River.
