You know that theory about all of us having a New Orleans gene that makes us part of the same family?

Well, here is your chance to REALLY become part of the musical DNA of the city.  The New Orleans Musician's Clinic and the Organ Grinders dance troupe are holding a blood drive this weekend.  They're aiming to collect 175 pints.

Now’s the time to give blood and help save lives- the Blood Center of New Orleans’ supply is at a critically low level. Every pint donated creates 3 blood transfusions.

The event will feature performances by local dance troupes, musicians, a raffle, and a LIMBO CONTEST!

Hosted at the Freret Street Publiq House (4528 Freret St.), August 23rd from 11:00 am – 5:00 pm.
