Eddie Cochran
Eddie Cochran, still from video

For your weekend viewing pleasure, an amazing hour with rock-and-roll and rockabilly pioneers Gene Vincent and Eddie Cochran, compiled from performances on a 1950s California TV show called Town Hall Party. The Gene Vincent songs come from appearances on October 25, 1958, and July 25 and November 7, 1959. Eddie Cochran's songs come from two performances, one of which happened February 7, 1959.

I'd recommend skipping over a rough patch of audio in the middle of the Gene Vincent section, from about 17 min, 30 sec to 31 min. Otherwise, the audio is good for 1950s TV.
