On Thursday, January 3rd, the Calvin Johnson Quartet debuts its 2012 album "Jewel's Lullaby" at Snug Harbor.  Before heading over for sound check, Calvin will stop by WWOZ for an interview just after five (5 p.m.) with Jelly Roll Justice.

Calvin Johnson, Jr. was born with the musical soul of New Orleans running through his veins. Since his birth he has been surrounded by the lavish culture of Jazz, Classical, Funk and Soul artists that have reigned from his family.
