phew. Yesterday beat me up. Today, I took a much more chill approach. I played the drums for awhile (I'm not so good, I need a lot of practice) and then I headed out to Bacchanal to meet friends for a girls night with Helen Gillet playing so beautifully under the trees and the lights strung in the branches. The weather was cool enough not to need bug spray!

I have the New Orleans Music show to do (and still plan) in the morning and Helen will be back in the studios to share her record she made at Never Records. 

Anyways, I saw awesome music again and will come back and talk about it in poetic detail in a few days when I'm a teeny tiny bit less busy. I'm just glad I made it out on day 2.
