Tune In Wednesday Night June 21 at 10:00 p.m. Dr. Ike of the Ponderosa Stomp Foundation will be "dropping in" with us to discuss the Magic Mountain and Monterey Pop Festivals held a week apart in June 1967. Hopefully he'll share some of his conversations with P.F. Sloan who performed at the 2015 Ponderosa Stomp. Mr. Sloan also sat on a panel discussion at the 2015 Ponderosa Stomp Music History Conference "That's Cool, That's Trash" where he discussed with WFMU's Todd Abramson the contrast between the 2 festivals. 

I'm sure we'll also discuss the upcoming 2017 13th biennial Ponderosa Stomp Festival being held October 5 - 7 featuring Roky Erickson performing 13th floor Elevators.
