Singer Vegas Cola was raised in the Treme neighborhood of New Orleans, and went on to study vocal performance at the University of New Orleans.  After years of performing around the city and nationally, with musicians such as Dave Bartholomew, Russell Batiste, James Andrews, Donald Harrison, Kermit Ruffins, Troy Andrews, and Big Sam’s Funky Nation, she is now fronting her own band.
