Pat Casey & The New Sound features bassist Pat Casey and an all-star cast of New Orleans musicians, including songbird extraordinaire Robin Barnes, the elegant Danny Abel on guitar, and Khris Royal on horns. While rooted firmly in jazz, Casey and his merry band explore Brazilian, Afrofunk, and Indian influences in their original songs, and use those influences to spice up more traditional and modern jazz tunes.
