Boukou Groove serves up a dynamic, genre-bending concoction of original funk, soul, and jam-heavy grooves. The duo of vocalist/keyboardist Donnie Sundal and guitarist Derwin “Big D” Perkins bring a big sound to delighted audiences in New Orleans and around the globe. They augment their own funky grooves and melodies with influences and partnerships across the musical spectrum, including Nashville’s Newgrass mandolin superstar Sam Bush, reggae icon Junior Marvin, and New Orleans’ piano maestro Jon Cleary.
