The family and friends of Russell Batiste Jr. will throw a packed musical send-off for the late New Orleans drummer and bandleader on Tuesday, Oct. 10, at The Howlin' Wolf. The tribute show starts at 4 p.m. and follows funeral services Tuesday morning for Batiste.

The extensive lineup will include members of the Batiste family of musicians — including Russell's brothers Damon, Jamal and Ryan and their father David Batiste Sr. — Big Chief Donald Harrison Jr., Charmaine Neville, George Porter Jr., Cyril Neville, Ivan Neville, James Andrews, Leo Nocentelli, Rockin' Dopsie Jr., Stanton Moore, TBC Brass Band, Big Chief Shaka Zulu and many others.

The tribute show runs until 10 p.m. and is free to attend.
