Community ~ WWOZ is all about inclusiveness. When you join 'OZ you become a card-carrying member (literally!) of a community of people who share your love for good music.

Soul Food ~ The music you hear on OZ is food for your soul, as important to your quality of life as the air you breathe, water you drink and food you eat.

Originality ~ Every one of WWOZ’s volunteer show hosts possess a passion for and encyclopedic knowledge of the music. Each one creates his or her own playlist based on that passion and knowledge, with no dictates from outside, commercial interests. They can’t wait to share the music with you every day.

WWOZ is always there for you any time of day or night. Available to you 24/7, all you have to do is turn on your radio or internet stream.

On-air membership drives are held twice a year, in the Spring and Fall, but anytime during the year is a great time to join WWOZ. A variety of membership levels are offered, each associated with different thank you gifts. As an OZ member you also receive special member discounts at several local businesses. You can also join or renew without receiving the associated premiums, if you'd prefer. Either way, you are a Guardian of the Groove in good standing for the entire year and we sincerely appreciate your generosity!
